Slow Cooker Apple Cinnamon Rolls
Servings 12
Ingredients
- 3 cans of Grand’s cinnamon rolls
- 2 cups of about 2 small apples peeled and chopped (Honey Crisp or Granny Smith)
- 4 large eggs
- 1/2 cup of heavy cream
- 1 can of sweetened condensed milk
- 2 teaspoons of cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- Reserved icing
- Optional: vanilla ice cream for serving
Instructions
- Cut the cinnamon rolls into quarters, saving the icing.
- Butter the slow cooker or use non-stick spray. Place half of the cinnamon rolls at the bottom.
- Add the chopped apples and top with the remaining cinnamon roll pieces.
- In a large measuring cup, whisk together eggs, heavy cream, cinnamon, and vanilla extract. Pour this custard over the cinnamon rolls. Add the condensed milk.
- Cover and cook on high for 3-4 hours until the custard is set and the rolls are golden brown on top.
- Once done, drizzle with the reserved icing. Serve warm and add a scoop of ice cream if you like!
Notes
Note: To prevent burning, consider lining the bottom of the slow cooker with aluminum foil or parchment paper, as cooking times may vary.
