Ingredients

Scale

Nougat Oat Layer

  • 1.5 cups oat flour
  • ½ cup vanilla protein powder (we used Garden of Life Whey)
  • ½ cup maple syrup
  • ⅓ cup all-natural drippy peanut butter

Peanut Butter Caramel Layer

  • ½ cup all-natural drippy peanut butter
  • ½ cup maple syrup
  • ¼ cup melted coconut oil
  • ¾ cup chopped salted peanuts

Chocolate Coating

  • 1.5 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil

Instructions

  1. Line an 8×8-inch pan with parchment paper and set aside.
  2. For the Nougat Oat Layer, mix all ingredients in a large bowl until a thick dough forms. Press firmly into the lined pan.
  3. Prepare the Peanut Butter Caramel Layer by mixing peanut butter, maple syrup, and coconut oil. Fold in the peanuts and spread over the oat layer. Freeze for 1 hour.
  4. Melt chocolate chips and coconut oil. Coat each bar with chocolate and place on a wire rack to set.
  5. Once set, store the bars in a freezer-safe bag or container.

Notes

  • Use any vanilla, chocolate, or caramel protein powder, whether whey or vegan.
  • Add extra peanuts for a crunchier Snickers bar experience.
