Peanut Butter Caramel Layer

½cupmaple syrup
¼cupmelted coconut oil
¾cupchopped salted peanuts
Chocolate Coating
1.5cupssemi-sweet chocolate chips
1tablespooncoconut oil
Instructions
Line an 8×8-inch pan with parchment paper and set aside.
For the Nougat Oat Layer, mix all ingredients in a large bowl until a thick dough forms. Press firmly into the lined pan.
Prepare the Peanut Butter Caramel Layer by mixing peanut butter, maple syrup, and coconut oil. Fold in the peanuts and spread over the oat layer. Freeze for 1 hour.
Melt chocolate chips and coconut oil. Coat each bar with chocolate and place on a wire rack to set.
Once set, store the bars in a freezer-safe bag or container.
Notes
Use any vanilla, chocolate, or caramel protein powder, whether whey or vegan.
Add extra peanuts for a crunchier Snickers bar experience.
