Ingredients
Scale
For the Pretzel Bites:
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup plain Greek yogurt (or vegan alternative)
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp sea salt
For the Cinnamon Sugar:
- 1/3 cup cane sugar (or coconut sugar)
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
For the “Cream Cheese” Dip:
- 1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt (or vegan alternative)
- 1 tbsp maple syrup (or honey, agave, or date syrup)
Instructions
- Start by making the dough. Combine Greek yogurt, flour, baking powder, and salt. Knead until the dough is no longer sticky, adding more flour if needed.
- Divide the dough into four equal parts. Roll each part into a log and cut into bite-sized pieces.
- Boil water on the stove and add 1/2 tbsp of baking powder. Quickly dip each pretzel bite in the water for 1-2 seconds and then place on the air fryer rack or baking sheet.
- Air fry at 350°F for 8-10 minutes.
- While the pretzel bites cook, prepare the cinnamon sugar mixture. Once done, toss the baked bites in the mixture.
- For the “cream cheese” dip, mix Greek yogurt and maple syrup.
- Dip and enjoy warm!
Notes
- Adjust flour or flour dusting if the dough is too sticky.
- Dip each bite briefly in baking soda water.
- Use a spider strainer for efficiency in larger batches.
- Lightly spray with oil if needed to help the cinnamon sugar mixture stick.
