Cinnamon Sugar Pretzel Bites

Ingredients

For the Pretzel Bites:

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup plain Greek yogurt or vegan alternative
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp sea salt

For the Cinnamon Sugar:

  • 1/3 cup cane sugar or coconut sugar
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon

For the “Cream Cheese” Dip:

  • 1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt or vegan alternative
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup or honey, agave, or date syrup

Instructions

  • Start by making the dough. Combine Greek yogurt, flour, baking powder, and salt. Knead until the dough is no longer sticky, adding more flour if needed.
  • Divide the dough into four equal parts. Roll each part into a log and cut into bite-sized pieces.
  • Boil water on the stove and add 1/2 tbsp of baking powder. Quickly dip each pretzel bite in the water for 1-2 seconds and then place on the air fryer rack or baking sheet.
  • Air fry at 350°F for 8-10 minutes.
  • While the pretzel bites cook, prepare the cinnamon sugar mixture. Once done, toss the baked bites in the mixture.
  • For the “cream cheese” dip, mix Greek yogurt and maple syrup.
  • Dip and enjoy warm!

Notes

  • Adjust flour or flour dusting if the dough is too sticky.
  • Dip each bite briefly in baking soda water.
  • Use a spider strainer for efficiency in larger batches.
  • Lightly spray with oil if needed to help the cinnamon sugar mixture stick.
