Strawberry Cheesecake French Toast Buns

Ingredients

  • 12 Hawaiian bread rolls
  • 8 oz softened whipped cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped strawberries
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup milk

Instructions

  • Hollow out the center of the Hawaiian rolls and press them back into shape.
  • Combine whipped cream cheese and sugar in a bowl until smooth; then, mix in the chopped strawberries.
  • Fill each Hawaiian bun with about 1 heaping tablespoon of the scrumptious filling.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together eggs and milk.
  • Dip the stuffed Hawaiian rolls into the egg and milk mixture until they’re fully coated.
  • Air fry at 350 degrees F for 6-8 minutes until the buns turn a delightful golden brown.
  • Optionally, dust with powdered sugar for an extra touch.
  • Serve and savor the deliciousness!

Notes

Note: If you prefer baking, preheat your oven to 375 degrees F. Place the rolls in a buttered baking dish and bake for 10-12 minutes or until they achieve a golden brown perfection. Enjoy!
