Immunity Cubes

Posted on

I love getting those cute little bottles or tiny jars and turning them into mini shots using pineapple juice or coconut water as the base! Instead of spending a lot on immunity shots at the store, you can whip them up at home for much less! These immunity cubes are perfect for winter, packed with vitamin C and anti-inflammatory goodies to boost you up inside. And guess what? They take less than 10 minutes to make!

Immunity Cubes

Course Drinks
Prep Time 15 minutes
Servings 15 ice cubes

Ingredients

  • 2 cups of water
  • 1/4 cup of raw honey
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • Juice of 2 oranges
  • 3 to 4 pieces of fresh ginger
  • 3 pieces of fresh turmeric
  • 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper

Instructions

  • Put all the ingredients in a blender until smooth and bright yellow/orange.
  • Pour the mixture into an ice cube tray and freeze overnight.
  • Store the cubes in an airtight container in the freezer until needed.

Notes

  • Customize to your taste by adding more honey or a dash of cayenne powder for extra spice.
  • Instead of water, try orange juice, pineapple juice, or coconut water. Water is best for tea, while fruit juice or coconut water works better for drinkable shots.
