Peach Pecan Infused Bourbon

Posted on

We’ve been adding various types of alcohol to create delightful flavors all summer long, and I must say, this infusion has become one of my absolute favorites! It’s a bit sweet, wonderfully peachy, and slightly nutty, adding a fantastic depth of flavor to any summer cocktail.

🍹 We mixed ours with iced tea and some homemade peach syrup, creating perfection! It’s also fantastic in a peach bourbon smash or simply enjoyed on its own.

Infusing is an easy and fantastic way to capture the peak flavor of your favorite produce.

✍️ Here’s what you need to make this infused bourbon:

Peach Pecan Infused Bourbon

Course Drinks

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted toasted pecans
  • 1 1/2 large or 2 small peaches, sliced
  • 1/2 cup pure maple syrup
  • 2-2 1/2 cups bourbon or whiskey

Instructions

  • Place all the ingredients in a large jar (we used a 32oz jar), ensuring the peaches are covered with bourbon. Seal, shake, and let it sit in a cool, dark place for at least 5 days, or up to 2 weeks. Shake the jar daily to evenly distribute the ingredients.
  • Taste the bourbon to determine if it’s ready to strain. If so, strain through a fine mesh sieve and store the alcohol in an airtight jar for several months.

🥃 To make our peach bourbon iced tea, follow these steps:

Mix 12 oz unsweetened black tea, 4 oz of the infused bourbon, and 2 oz of peach simple syrup* in a large pitcher filled with ice. Stir well, then pour and enjoy! *Let me know if you want our peach simple syrup recipe, and I’ll send it to you 🍑
