Focaccia with Za’atar Seasoning

  • 14-16 frozen dinner rolls Rhodes brand
  • 1/3 cup extra virgin olive oil plus extra for brushing
  • 1/4 cup za’atar seasoning


  • Start by placing 14-16 frozen dinner rolls in a generously buttered 13×9 baking dish, leaving about 1/2 inch of space between each roll.
  • Give each frozen roll a light brush of olive oil. Cover with plastic wrap and let them rise for 4-6 hours.
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F.
  • Once the rolls have doubled in size, remove the plastic wrap.
  • Mix 1/4 cup of za’atar seasoning with olive oil in a bowl, then drizzle this flavorful blend over the rolls.
  • Using your fingertips, create indentations in the bread.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the bread turns a delightful golden brown. Keep a close eye to avoid overbaking!
