
Chocolate Covered Apples

- 1.5 cups melted chocolate
- 1/2 cup creamy almond butter
- 1/2 honey crisp apple (cut into chunks)
- 5 medjool dates (cut into small pieces)
- 15 walnuts
Instructions
- Begin by melting the chocolate with 1 teaspoon of coconut oil or any other oil of choice. Microwave in 30-second intervals until melted, then stir in the almond butter until smooth and creamy.
- Add approximately 1 teaspoon of the melted chocolate to each cavity in the silicon mold.
- Next, place a chunk of apple followed by a piece of medjool date into each cavity.
- Finish off by adding more melted chocolate on top of each bite and placing a walnut on top.
- Transfer the mold to the freezer and let it set for 30-45 minutes until firm.
- Once firm, remove the chocolate covered apples from the silicon mold and enjoy!
Notes
- Opt for high-quality chocolate chips for the best flavor.
- Feel free to use your preferred type of apple.
- If you don’t have silicon molds, alternative options include mini cupcake liners or a baking sheet.
