Wingstop Copycat Cajun Fried Corn

Ingredients
- 4 ears of corn each cut into 4 sections (about 1 to 1.5 inches thick)
- 1/2 cup of melted unsalted butter
- 1 tablespoon of chopped parsley
- 2 teaspoons of minced garlic
- 2 teaspoons of Cajun seasoning
- 1/4 teaspoon of salt adjust to taste
- 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon of onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon of dried basil
- 1 teaspoon of paprika
- 1 tablespoon of lemon juice optional
- Vegetable oil for frying
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix together the melted butter, parsley, garlic, Cajun seasoning, salt, black pepper, onion powder, dried basil, paprika, and lemon juice (if using). Set aside.
- Cut each ear of corn into about 4 sections, each piece should be 1 to 1.5 inches thick.
- Heat vegetable oil in a deep frying pan to 350°F.
- Fry the corn in batches, ensuring they’re not overcrowded, until golden on both sides.
- Remove from the oil and drain any excess oil, then transfer to a large bowl.
- Add the seasoned butter mixture to the bowl and toss until well coated.
- Serve with ranch dressing and Parmesan cheese for a delicious treat!
Notes
- Cajun seasoning already contains salt, so adjust the additional salt based on your Cajun blend.
- Experiment with different Cajun blends for unique flavors!
