Ingredients
For the Strawberry Syrup:
- 10 ounces frozen strawberries
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 teaspoons cornstarch
For the Strawberry Cold Foam:
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons 2% milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract or 1 tablespoon vanilla syrup
- 3 tablespoons strawberry syrup
For the Drink:
- 2 to 3 shots of espresso
- 1/2 to 1 tablespoon white mocha or chocolate sauce
- Milk of your choice
- Strawberry cold foam
- Freeze-dried strawberries crushed into powder
Instructions
Make the Strawberry Syrup:
- In a pot over medium heat, combine frozen strawberries, sugar, water, and cornstarch.
- Cook the strawberries for 6 to 7 minutes until softened, then mash them down with a spoon and simmer for another 5 to 6 minutes.
- Strain the syrup from the pulp into a bowl and set it aside. You can discard the pulp.
Prepare the Cold Foam:
- In a bowl, jar, or measuring cup, whisk together heavy cream, 2% milk, vanilla, and strawberry syrup using an electric whisk until thickened and pink in color.
Assemble the Drink:
- In a cup, mix white mocha sauce, chocolate sauce, or your preferred sweetener with espresso shots.
