The Best Greek Salad

Ingredients
**For the Greek Salad:**
- 3 cups of shredded romaine lettuce
- ½ medium red onion thinly sliced
- ½ cup Kalamata olives
- 2 large tomatoes about 2 cups, chopped
- 1 large English cucumber about 1 1/2 cups, chopped
- 1/2 cup feta cheese crumbles
- 1 cup pita chips
**For the Dressing:**
- 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon white wine or red wine vinegar
- Juice of 1 medium lime
- 1/2 teaspoon salt or to taste
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper or to taste
Instructions
- Start by prepping your salad ingredients! Slice the lettuce thinly, dice the tomatoes and cucumbers into small cubes, halve the Kalamata olives, and slice the red onion.
- Now, let’s make the salad dressing. In a mason jar, combine olive oil, oregano, basil, garlic powder, vinegar, lime juice, salt, and pepper. Cover the jar and shake well.
- Grab a large bowl and place the lettuce in it.
- Layer the tomatoes, cucumbers, Kalamata olives, red onions, feta, and pita chips on top of the lettuce.
- Drizzle as much or as little dressing as you like over the salad.
- Toss everything together using large salad spoons or tongs.
- Serve immediately and enjoy your fresh, flavorful salad!
