Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup old-fashioned oats
  • 1/2 cup milk of choice
  • 1/2 cup strawberries (divided)
  • 1/4 cup plain dairy-free yogurt
  • 1/2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • Toppings: granola (strawberries, yogurt)


Instructions

  1. Start by making the strawberry milk. In a blender, combine milk and half of the fresh strawberries. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  2. In a jar, add oats, strawberry milk, dairy-free yogurt, maple syrup, and vanilla extract. Mix well with a spoon until combined.
  3. Cover the jar with a lid and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  4. The next morning, give the oats a good stir and add your favorite toppings. Try more yogurt, fresh strawberry slices, and granola for a delicious breakfast treat!

Notes

  • Make your own strawberry milk for a healthier alternative.
  • If you don’t have a blender, chop or mash the strawberries before adding them to the oats.
  • Blend the oats for a creamy texture if you prefer.
  • Add granola or nuts for extra texture and flavor.
