Jalapeño Cheddar Tuna Melt

Ingredients
- 12- ounce can of solid white albacore tuna drained
- 1/3 cup of mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup of thinly sliced green onions
- 3 to 4 tablespoons of sweet yellow corn
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt adjust to taste
- 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon of red pepper flakes
- 1 teaspoon of yellow mustard
- 1 tablespoon of chopped parsley
- 1 cup of shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 jalapeño thinly sliced
- 4 to 5 slices of your favorite bread
Instructions
- Preheat your oven or air fryer to 400°F.
- In a bowl, mix together the drained tuna, mayonnaise, green onion, corn, black pepper, salt, red pepper flakes, yellow mustard, and parsley.
- Spread the tuna mixture onto the sliced bread. Top with shredded cheddar cheese and 3 to 4 slices of jalapeños.
- Place in the air fryer or oven for 7 to 9 minutes until the cheese is golden and bubbly on top, and the bread is crispy. If needed, broil for an additional 2 to 3 minutes.
