Jalapeño Cheddar Tuna Melt

Ingredients
  

  • 12- ounce can of solid white albacore tuna drained
  • 1/3 cup of mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup of thinly sliced green onions
  • 3 to 4 tablespoons of sweet yellow corn
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt adjust to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon of red pepper flakes
  • 1 teaspoon of yellow mustard
  • 1 tablespoon of chopped parsley
  • 1 cup of shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 jalapeño thinly sliced
  • 4 to 5 slices of your favorite bread

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven or air fryer to 400°F.
  • In a bowl, mix together the drained tuna, mayonnaise, green onion, corn, black pepper, salt, red pepper flakes, yellow mustard, and parsley.
  • Spread the tuna mixture onto the sliced bread. Top with shredded cheddar cheese and 3 to 4 slices of jalapeños.
  • Place in the air fryer or oven for 7 to 9 minutes until the cheese is golden and bubbly on top, and the bread is crispy. If needed, broil for an additional 2 to 3 minutes.
  • Remove from the oven and enjoy your warm, delicious Jalapeño Cheddar Tuna Melt!
