Get ready to feel the holiday cheer with this HOMEMADE ICED PEPPERMINT MOCHA! It’s so simple to whip up—just toss all the ingredients into a blender, pour in some milk, and sip away.

I like to top mine off with a piece of homemade peppermint bark for an extra festive touch—check out the recipe a few posts back!

If you’re in the mood for a warm drink instead, no problem! Just throw all the ingredients into a small pot on the stove over medium heat, whisk until everything’s mixed, and your hot drink is ready to go.

  • Yield: 1 1x
  • Category: Drinks

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3/4 cup strong coffee (or 2 shots of espresso)
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon peppermint extract (or kick it up to 1/2 teaspoon for extra peppermint flavor)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup dairy-free milk of your choice (I went with @malkorganics)
  • Handful of ice cubes

Instructions

  1. In a blender, toss in all the ingredients except the milk and blend for about 20-30 seconds.
  2. Pour the mixture over some ice cubes, froth up the milk, and get ready to sip!
  3. If you’re not in the mood to froth the milk, no worries—just add all the ingredients to the blender, give it a whirl, and pour it over ice.
