If you’re in the mood for a warm drink instead, no problem! Just throw all the ingredients into a small pot on the stove over medium heat, whisk until everything’s mixed, and your hot drink is ready to go.
Homemade Iced Peppermint Mocha
Servings 1
Ingredients
- 3/4 cup strong coffee or 2 shots of espresso
- 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
- 1/4 teaspoon peppermint extract or kick it up to 1/2 teaspoon for extra peppermint flavor
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup
- 1/2 cup dairy-free milk of your choice I went with @malkorganics
- Handful of ice cubes
Instructions
- In a blender, toss in all the ingredients except the milk and blend for about 20-30 seconds.
- Pour the mixture over some ice cubes, froth up the milk, and get ready to sip!
- If you’re not in the mood to froth the milk, no worries—just add all the ingredients to the blender, give it a whirl, and pour it over ice.
