Ingredients

  • 2 apples (cores removed)
  • 1 cup pancake batter (prepared according to package instructions)
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons coconut sugar or Monkfruit Sweetener
  • 3 tablespoons maple syrup (optional, for dipping)


Instructions

  1. First, whip up your pancake batter and set it aside. Then, slice your apples into 1/4 to 1/2 inch slices and remove the cores using a melon baller or small cookie cutter.
  2. Heat up a pan on the stove over medium heat and grease it with butter or oil. Dip each apple slice into the pancake batter, making sure they’re fully coated.
  3. Place the coated apples in the pan and cook for about two minutes on each side until they’re golden brown.
  4. Once they’re cooked, roll each pancake dipper in a mixture of cinnamon and coconut sugar for extra flavor.
  5. Serve them up with maple syrup for dipping, and enjoy your delicious breakfast treat!
