Easy Baklava Granola

Ingredients

  • 3 cups old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 1/3 cup ghee
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup raw walnuts
  • 1/3 cup raw shelled pistachios
  • 1/3 cup slivered almonds
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F. Grab a baking sheet and line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together the ghee, honey, brown sugar, and vanilla until well combined.
  3. In a large bowl, toss together the dry ingredients – oats, walnuts, pistachios, almonds, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
  4. Slowly pour the wet ingredients over the dry mixture, stirring until everything is nicely coated.
  5. Spread the granola evenly on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 20-22 minutes or until it turns a beautiful golden color, remembering to stir halfway through.
  6. Allow the granola to cool completely before breaking it apart. Store your homemade goodness in an airtight container.
