Cucumber Yogurt Tzatziki

  • 1 cup of plain full-fat yogurt
  • 1 small cucumber finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon of parsley finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon of dried mint
  • 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 2 teaspoons of minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon of dried basil
  • 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon of lemon zest
  • 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil


  • In a bowl, combine the yogurt, chopped cucumber, parsley, dried mint, black pepper, minced garlic, basil, salt, lemon juice, lemon zest, and olive oil.
  • Mix everything together until you have a smooth, creamy consistency.
  • Give it a taste and adjust any seasonings to your liking.
