Ingredients

Scale

Pretzel Bites

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup plain Greek yogurt (or vegan alternative)
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp sea salt

Cinnamon Sugar

  • 1/3 cup cane sugar (or coconut sugar)
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon

“Cream Cheese Dip”

  • 1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt (or vegan alternative)
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup (or honey, agave, or date syrup)

Instructions

  1. Begin by making the dough. Combine Greek yogurt, flour, baking powder, and salt in a bowl. Mix until a dough forms, then transfer to a floured surface and knead until no longer sticky.
  2. Roll the dough into a large ball and divide it into four equal parts. Roll each section into a log and cut into bite-sized pieces.
  3. Bring water to a boil on the stovetop, then add 1/2 tbsp of baking powder and stir until no more bubbles appear.
  4. Quickly dip each pretzel bite into the water for about 1-2 seconds and transfer to the air fryer rack or baking sheet, depending on the cooking method.
  5. Air fry at 350°F for 8-10 minutes.
  6. While the pretzel bites cook, prepare the cinnamon and sugar mixture. Once the bites are done, toss them in the mixture. If needed, lightly coat with your preferred oil spray.
  7. To make the “cream cheese” dip, combine Greek yogurt and maple syrup.
  8. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

  • Adjust the flour or flour your hands as needed to prevent the dough from sticking.
  • Dip the dough bites quickly in the baking soda water to avoid oversaturation.
  • Consider using a spider strainer for larger batches.
  • After baking, coat the pretzel bites in the cinnamon and sugar mixture promptly.
  • Feel free to experiment with different fillings to customize your pretzel bites!
