Mash the banana with a fork.
Whisk in the olive oil, maple syrup, egg, and vanilla.
Add the protein, baking soda, and salt. Mix until smooth, then stir in the chocolate chips.
Transfer the batter to a microwave-safe container, approximately 13 ounces. Microwave for about 2 minutes and 15 seconds (microwaves may vary, so start checking at 1:45). Optionally, top with a few more chocolate chips and microwave for an extra 10 seconds if desired.
If the bottom still looks wet, microwave in additional 10-second intervals. Enjoy the warm goodness, perhaps with a dollop of peanut butter!
