Buffalo dip is already great, but imagine baking it in a crispy, golden bread bowl! You can simply tear off a piece of the bread and dip it into the creamy, cheesy center for the ultimate snacking delight. Plus, the bread itself is infused with garlic parmesan butter for extra flavor!
Bread Bowl Buffalo Chicken Dip

Ingredients
Garlic Butter:
- 1/2 cup melted unsalted butter
- 2 tablespoons finely chopped parsley
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 3 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
- 1/2 to 1 teaspoon salt adjust to taste
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
Buffalo Dip:
- 12 ounces shredded rotisserie chicken
- 3/4 cup buffalo sauce
- 1/3 cup ranch dressing
- 2 tablespoons softened cream cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 teaspoons finely minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon finely chopped cilantro
- 1 diced green bell pepper
- 1/4 cup sliced green onions or diced red onions
For Assembly:
- 1 large round loaf of bread
- 1/3 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/3 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- Green onions for garnish
Instructions
Making the Garlic Butter:
- Mix melted butter with parsley, minced garlic, parmesan, salt, black pepper, and oregano in a small bowl.
Making the Buffalo Dip:
- In a large bowl, combine shredded chicken, buffalo sauce, ranch dressing, cream cheese, cheddar cheese, mozzarella cheese, minced garlic, cilantro, green bell pepper, and onions. Mix well and set aside.
Assembling and Baking:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F.
- Line a baking tray with parchment paper and place the loaf on it.
- Cut out a large hole in the center of the loaf, removing excess bread to create a bread bowl.
- Slice little sections around the edge, about 2/3 to 3/4 of the way down.
- Brush garlic butter between each section and all over the outside of the bread.
- Fill the center with the buffalo chicken dip and sprinkle a blend of mozzarella and cheddar cheese on top.
- Bake for 15 minutes until golden. If the bread is browning too quickly, cover it with foil.
- Optionally, broil for an additional 3 to 4 minutes for bubbly, crispy cheese.
- Serve warm with extra buffalo sauce, ranch dressing, and garnish with green onions.
