Baked Oats are the latest craze on TikTok, so I decided to hop on the trend and create a brand new recipe. While I already have several baked oats recipes on my page, this one stands out. It features cashew butter and boasts a creamy, gooey center that’s sure to warm your heart and fill your belly.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup old fashioned oats
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • Pinch of sea salt
  • 1 small/medium banana
  • 2 Tbsp cashew butter
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 1/2 Tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp dark chocolate chips

TOPPING:

  • Handful of dark chocolate chips
  • 1 tbsp cashew butter


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F.
  2. In a blender, mix together the old fashioned oats, baking powder, sea salt, banana, cashew butter, almond milk, and maple syrup until you get a smooth, creamy consistency.
  3. Set aside 3 tablespoons of the batter and pour the rest into an oven-safe baking dish. Stir in the dark chocolate chips until they’re evenly distributed.
  4. Add 1 tablespoon of cashew butter to the center of the mixture in the baking dish, then pour the reserved batter on top. Sprinkle additional chocolate chips on top.
  5. Bake for 30-35 minutes for a gooey center. If you prefer a firmer center, bake for an additional 10 minutes.
  6. Let it cool for a few minutes, then dive in and enjoy the warm, comforting goodness!
