Get ready for a tasty twist on the classic holiday treat—transformed into a smooth, mouthwatering dip that’s also incredibly simple to make!

For our delightful cranberry dip, we use fresh cranberries, orange juice, and zest, along with a dash of maple syrup, and the fantastic Madagascar vanilla extract and cinnamon from @simplyorganicfoods. We love keeping our spice cabinet stocked with Simply Organic goodies, especially during the holiday season. In fact, we breeze through a bottle of their vanilla extract every week in December! 😅

Whipped Cranberry Brie

Course Appetizer

Ingredients

  • 3 wheels of brie cheese 8 oz each, without the rind
  • 1 cup 4 oz fresh cranberries
  • 1/3 cup maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup orange juice
  • 1 tsp orange zest
  • 3/4 tsp @simplyorganicfoods Pure Madagascar Vanilla Extract
  • 1/4 tsp @simplyorganicfoods Cinnamon

Instructions

  • In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine cranberries, maple syrup, orange juice, zest, vanilla, and cinnamon. Stir well, then bring it to a simmer. Reduce the heat to low and let it cook for 10-12 minutes until it thickens. Take it off the heat and let it cool completely.
  • While the cranberry mixture cools, grab a sharp knife and remove the rind from all three brie wheels. Toss them into a stand mixer and whip them on medium-high speed for 8-10 minutes, until the brie turns creamy and spreadable. (It’s almost like butter!)
  • Mix in the cranberry compote gently. Transfer it to a bowl and, if you like, garnish with honey, chopped pecans, orange zest, and some fresh cranberry slices. Serve it up with some crackers and enjoy the deliciousness!
