We eagerly await peppermint bark season every year. These shots capture the essence of the beloved treat but with an extra kick of booze. Sweet, minty, and creamy, but beware: they go down smooth yet pack a punch just like any other shot.

For holiday gatherings, it’s smart to prepare these drinks ahead of time so you can simply pour them when guests arrive. Store the mixture in the freezer to keep it nice and cold for serving. You can also prep the shot glasses in advance by garnishing them and keeping them in the refrigerator. While we used white chocolate for the rims, feel free to swap in semisweet chocolate if you prefer the classic bark flavor.

When it comes to white chocolate liqueur, we highly recommend Godiva’s version. It strikes a perfect balance of sweetness with a subtle vanilla undertone that complements the peppermint schnapps beautifully. If you experiment with another brand, be sure to share your thoughts in the comments below!
