Introducing the super quick and easy pear tart that’s unbelievably delicious! It’s crispy and flaky on the outside but wonderfully soft and chewy inside.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 sheet of frozen puff pastry thawed
  • 2-3 pears thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter melted
  • 1/4 cup coconut sugar or regular/brown sugar
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp ground ginger
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 tbsp turbinado sugar for coating before baking

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F.
  • Score the puff pastry around the edges with a knife.
  • In a bowl, mix melted butter, coconut sugar, and spices, then brush over the puff pastry.
  • Arrange the thinly sliced pears on top.
  • Brush more of the cinnamon sugar mixture over the pears and sprinkle with turbinado sugar.
  • Bake for 18-22 minutes until golden brown.
  • Let it cool slightly, then slice into it and indulge! Enjoy warm with a scoop of ice cream or Greek yogurt.
