Paleo Apple No-Cider Donuts

Ingredients

  • 2 cups almond flour
  • 2 tbsp coconut flour
  • 1/4 cup full-fat coconut milk
  • 1/4 cup applesauce
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 2 pasture-raised organic eggs
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil (melted)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 2 tbsp Primal Palate Apple Pie Spice (or 1 1/2 tbsp cinnamon, 1/4 tsp nutmeg, 1/4 tsp ginger)


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F.
  2. Grease a silicone donut pan with avocado or coconut oil spray and set it aside.
  3. In a medium bowl, whisk together the dry ingredients.
  4. Melt the coconut oil.
  5. In another bowl, combine the melted coconut oil with the rest of the wet ingredients, whisking until well blended.
  6. Pour the wet batter into the bowl with the dry ingredients and stir until fully combined.
  7. Gently scoop the batter into each donut cavity, filling them almost up to the fill line.
  8. Use your fingers to even out the donuts.
  9. Bake for 16-17 minutes.
  10. Remove from the oven and let them sit for 2-3 minutes, then flip the donut pan upside down to easily release the donuts.
  11. Lightly spray coconut oil on top of each donut and sprinkle with additional cinnamon and/or sugar.
  12. Dig in and enjoy the deliciousness!
