These donuts embody everything I love about fall, with their irresistible apple cider taste achieved using applesauce and Apple Pie Spice. Trust me, it’s a flavor sensation!

Paleo Apple No-Cider Donuts

  • 2 cups almond flour
  • 2 tbsp coconut flour
  • 1/4 cup full-fat coconut milk
  • 1/4 cup applesauce
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 2 pasture-raised organic eggs
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil melted
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 2 tbsp Primal Palate Apple Pie Spice or 1 1/2 tbsp cinnamon, 1/4 tsp nutmeg, 1/4 tsp ginger


  • Preheat your oven to 350°F.
  • Grease a silicone donut pan with avocado or coconut oil spray and set it aside.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together the dry ingredients.
  • Melt the coconut oil.
  • In another bowl, combine the melted coconut oil with the rest of the wet ingredients, whisking until well blended.
  • Pour the wet batter into the bowl with the dry ingredients and stir until fully combined.
  • Gently scoop the batter into each donut cavity, filling them almost up to the fill line.
  • Use your fingers to even out the donuts.
  • Bake for 16-17 minutes.
  • Remove from the oven and let them sit for 2-3 minutes, then flip the donut pan upside down to easily release the donuts.
  • Lightly spray coconut oil on top of each donut and sprinkle with additional cinnamon and/or sugar.
  • Dig in and enjoy the deliciousness!
