Let’s take your average Jello shots and give them a fancy twist, just in time for Fourth of July weekend! These Mixed Berry Jello Shots are not only delicious but also super fun to make. Plus, you can easily skip the vodka to make them kid-friendly! I found a natural jello mix on Amazon for this recipe, but feel free to use any fruits you have on hand. I went with strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries to keep it festive, but mango, kiwi, and pineapple would be equally delicious additions!
Here’s what you’ll need to make 12 shots:
Mixed Berry Jello Shots
Servings 12
Ingredients
- 2 packages of gelatin mix/jello
- 1 cup chopped strawberries
- 1 cup blueberries
- 1 cup raspberries
- 3/4 cup vodka of your choice or skip this for a non-alcoholic version
Instructions
- To whip up these tasty shots, start by heating 3 cups of water in a small pot on the stove over medium heat. Once heated, add the gelatin mix and stir until fully dissolved. Then, remove it from the heat and let it cool for about 15 minutes before adding the vodka.
- While waiting, prepare a muffin tin with liners. Then, distribute the chopped fruit evenly among the liners. Pour the gelatin and vodka mixture over the fruit, filling each liner.
- Pop the muffin tin into the fridge and let it chill for at least 4 hours, or until the gelatin is nice and firm. Once set, it’s time to indulge! Grab a shot, raise a toast, and enjoy the fruity goodness! Cheers! 🎉
