  • 1 cup cold Butter cubed
  • 2 cups Sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Pure Vanilla Extract
  • 1 1/2 Tablespoons Fresh Lemon Juice
  • 1 Tablespoon Lemon Zest add more for an extra burst of flavor
  • 3 cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 1/4 teaspoons Baking Powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt

  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • In a big bowl, beat the cold butter and sugar until fluffy (about 4 minutes). Add eggs, vanilla, lemon juice, and lemon zest; mix well.
