Ingredients
Scale
- 2 apples (cores removed)
- 1 cup pancake batter (prepared according to package instructions)
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons coconut sugar or Monkfruit Sweetener
- 3 tablespoons maple syrup (optional, for dipping)
Instructions
- First, whip up your pancake batter and set it aside. Then, slice your apples into 1/4 to 1/2 inch slices and remove the cores using a melon baller or small cookie cutter.
- Heat up a pan on the stove over medium heat and grease it with butter or oil. Dip each apple slice into the pancake batter, making sure they’re fully coated.
- Place the coated apples in the pan and cook for about two minutes on each side until they’re golden brown.
- Once they’re cooked, roll each pancake dipper in a mixture of cinnamon and coconut sugar for extra flavor.
- Serve them up with maple syrup for dipping, and enjoy your delicious breakfast treat!
