Description
These Shrimp Crab Biscuit Melts are warm, gooey, and loaded with seafood goodness — perfect for a quick snack, appetizer, or casual dinner.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 can (8 biscuits) refrigerated flaky biscuits
- 3/4 cup cooked shrimp, diced
- 3/4 cup lump crab meat
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella
- 2 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 tsp Old Bay seasoning (or seasoning of choice)
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, finely chopped
- 1 tbsp melted butter (for brushing tops)
Instructions
- Prep the Oven & Biscuits
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). On a baking sheet, gently press each biscuit to flatten slightly, creating a base for your filling.
- Mix the Filling
- In a medium bowl, combine the chopped shrimp, crab meat, shredded mozzarella, cream cheese, Old Bay, and parsley. Stir until fully mixed and creamy.
- Assemble the Melts
- Spoon the seafood mixture onto half of the flattened biscuits. Top with the remaining biscuits and gently pinch the edges to seal in the filling. Press lightly to secure.
- Bake to Golden Perfection
- Brush the tops with melted butter. Bake for 13–15 minutes, or until the biscuits are puffed and golden brown.
- Serve & Enjoy
- Let the melts cool for about 2 minutes before serving. Slice in half for easier bites or enjoy them whole.
Notes
- Ensure shrimp and crab are well-drained to avoid soggy filling.
- Swap mozzarella for cheddar or gouda for a different flavor profile.
- Double the batch for parties — these disappear fast!
