Garlic Sauce

Course Side Dish
Prep Time 5 minutes
Servings 12

Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 cups peeled garlic cloves
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 3 cups canola oil
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 2 Tablespoons sour cream

Instructions

  • In your trusty food processor, toss in the garlic cloves and salt. Give it a quick pulse for about 1 minute until the garlic is finely minced. Don’t forget to scrape down the sides for an even mix.
  • Now, with the food processor humming away, slowly drizzle in 1 tablespoon of oil. Scrape those sides again, and keep repeating this process, adding 1-2 tablespoons of oil and lemon juice alternately until you achieve a well-combined, creamy mixture. Be patient; this step takes about 10-12 minutes!
  • Toss in the sour cream and pulse to bring everything together.
  • Ready to enjoy? Serve immediately, or if you’re feeling patient, pop it in the fridge to chill.
  • To keep the goodness lasting, store your creation in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days.
