Flourless Chocolate Cake

This rich and fudgy Flourless Chocolate Cake is gluten-free, nut-free, and made with just 8 simple ingredients. Top it off with your favorite Easter chocolates for a perfect holiday dessert 🤎.

Ingredients

  • 4 ounces vegan dark chocolate chopped
  • 6 tablespoons dairy-free butter
  • 1/2 cup light brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup chickpea flour gram flour
  • 1/4 cup vegan chocolate protein powder or substitute with more chickpea flour
  • 1/2 cup dairy-free milk
  • 1/3 cup dark cocoa powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 340°F. Line and grease a 6-inch cake pan, then set it aside.
  • Melt the dark chocolate and butter together.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the chickpea flour, protein powder, and dairy-free milk until it forms a thick paste.
  • Once the chocolate and butter are melted, stir in the sugar until fully dissolved. Add the chickpea flour mixture and stir until combined.
  • Gently fold in the cocoa powder and baking soda.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and bake for 35-40 minutes.
  • Remove from the oven and allow the cake to cool before slicing and serving!
