Flourless Chocolate Cake
This rich and fudgy Flourless Chocolate Cake is gluten-free, nut-free, and made with just 8 simple ingredients. Top it off with your favorite Easter chocolates for a perfect holiday dessert 🤎.
- 4 ounces vegan dark chocolate chopped
- 6 tablespoons dairy-free butter
- 1/2 cup light brown sugar
- 1/2 cup chickpea flour gram flour
- 1/4 cup vegan chocolate protein powder or substitute with more chickpea flour
- 1/2 cup dairy-free milk
- 1/3 cup dark cocoa powder
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
Preheat your oven to 340°F. Line and grease a 6-inch cake pan, then set it aside.
Melt the dark chocolate and butter together.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the chickpea flour, protein powder, and dairy-free milk until it forms a thick paste.
Once the chocolate and butter are melted, stir in the sugar until fully dissolved. Add the chickpea flour mixture and stir until combined.
Gently fold in the cocoa powder and baking soda.
Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and bake for 35-40 minutes.
Remove from the oven and allow the cake to cool before slicing and serving!
