Keep an eye on these little treats while they fry up. Depending on how hot your oil is, they might only need about 30 seconds on each side. Once they turn golden and crispy, it’s time to flip them over!

  • Prep Time: 10 minutes
  • Total Time: 20 minutes
  • Yield: 12 1x
  • Category: Dessert

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 egg roll wrappers
  • 1 1/2 cups smooth peanut butter
  • 4 bananas (sliced into thirds)
  • 12 slices bacon (cooked and halved)
  • 1 cup melted chocolate (for topping)
  • Melted peanut butter (for topping)
  • Vegetable oil (for frying)

Instructions

  1. Step 1: Lay an egg roll wrapper on a clean surface, making sure it’s in a diamond shape. Spoon about 2 tablespoons of peanut butter onto the center of the wrapper. Place half a slice of bacon and a piece of banana (3-4 inches long) on top. Fold the bottom half up and then tightly fold in the sides. Roll it up gently and seal the edge with a few drops of water. Repeat for the remaining ingredients.
  2. Step 2: Pour vegetable oil into a large skillet until it’s about 1 inch deep. Heat the skillet over medium heat until the oil bubbles vigorously when you add a drop of water. In batches, add the egg rolls and fry until they turn golden, about 1 minute per side. Transfer them to a plate lined with paper towels to cool slightly. Repeat with the rest of the egg rolls.
  3. Step 3: Drizzle the fried egg rolls with melted chocolate and peanut butter before serving. Enjoy these delicious treats while they’re warm!
