Ingredients

Scale

For the Pretzel Bites:

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup plain Greek yogurt (or vegan alternative)
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp sea salt

For the Cinnamon Sugar:

  • 1/3 cup cane sugar (or coconut sugar)
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon

For the “Cream Cheese” Dip:

  • 1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt (or vegan alternative)
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup (or honey, agave, or date syrup)

Instructions

  1. Start by making the dough. Combine Greek yogurt, flour, baking powder, and salt. Knead until the dough is no longer sticky, adding more flour if needed.
  2. Divide the dough into four equal parts. Roll each part into a log and cut into bite-sized pieces.
  3. Boil water on the stove and add 1/2 tbsp of baking powder. Quickly dip each pretzel bite in the water for 1-2 seconds and then place on the air fryer rack or baking sheet.
  4. Air fry at 350°F for 8-10 minutes.
  5. While the pretzel bites cook, prepare the cinnamon sugar mixture. Once done, toss the baked bites in the mixture.
  6. For the “cream cheese” dip, mix Greek yogurt and maple syrup.
  7. Dip and enjoy warm!

Notes

  • Adjust flour or flour dusting if the dough is too sticky.
  • Dip each bite briefly in baking soda water.
  • Use a spider strainer for efficiency in larger batches.
  • Lightly spray with oil if needed to help the cinnamon sugar mixture stick.
