Ingredients

  • – 1 tbsp butter
  • – 1 tbsp sugar (for coating ramekins)
  • – 4 eggs
  • – 2 tsp sugar
  • – 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • – Dash of salt
  • – 4 oz cream cheese
  • – 2/3 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or jack)


Instructions

**Step 1:**

  1. – Preheat the oven to 400°F.
  2. – Prep the soufflé ramekins by coating the sides and bottom with butter, then sprinkle with sugar to prevent sticking.

**Step 2:**

  1. – Separate the egg yolks and whites into two bowls.
  2. – In the bowl with egg yolks, add 2 tsp sugar, flour, salt, cream cheese, and shredded cheese. Mix well and set aside.
  3. – In the bowl with egg whites, use a standing mixer or a hand whisk to beat the whites until stiff peaks form.
  4. – Gently fold the egg whites into the yolk mixture.
  5. – Pour the batter into the ramekins, filling them to the top.

**Step 3:**

  1. – Bake for 12 minutes, or until the soufflés have risen and are golden brown.
