Berry Brioche Cream Cheese French Toast Bake

Ingredients

  • 1 loaf of brioche bread
  • 8 ounces of cream cheese
  • 4 large eggs
  • 3 cups of whole milk
  • 8 ounces of blueberries
  • 16 ounces of strawberries
  • 3/4 cup of granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Cut your brioche loaf into chunks and keep them aside.
  • Chop the cream cheese into cubes.
  • In a big bowl, mix together the milk, eggs, vanilla, cinnamon, and sugar to make your egg wash. Whisk it until everything is well combined.
  • Place the brioche cubes in an oven-safe baking dish. Add strawberries and blueberries on top, and scatter the cream cheese cubes around.
  • Pour the egg wash over the entire dish. Cover it and let it chill in the refrigerator overnight (or at least 1 hour).
  • When you’re ready to bake, remove the foil and bake for about 35-40 minutes.
  • Serve it up with powdered sugar and maple syrup.
