BBQ Salmon Tacos

Ingredients

  • 1 pound salmon skin removed and cut into cubes
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt adjust to taste
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon coriander
  • 1/2 teaspoon oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup BBQ sauce add more to taste
  • Oil spray

**For Assembly:**

  • Tortillas
  • Thinly sliced avocado
  • Finely chopped cilantro
  • Sliced jalapeños
  • Corn
  • Sour cream
  • Crumbled cotija cheese
  • Shredded lettuce or slaw

Instructions

  • In a bowl, combine the cubed salmon with olive oil, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, chili powder, paprika, cumin, coriander, oregano, and black pepper. Mix well to coat the salmon evenly.
  • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F.
  • Spray the air fryer tray with oil to prevent sticking, then arrange the salmon cubes on the tray, making sure they’re spaced apart.
  • Air fry the salmon for 7 minutes.
  • Open the air fryer and brush the salmon cubes with BBQ sauce.
  • Air fry for an additional 1 to 2 minutes.
  • Remove the salmon from the air fryer.
  • To assemble the tacos, place avocado, lettuce or cabbage, sour cream, salmon, corn, cotija cheese, and cilantro onto each tortilla.
  • Serve and enjoy your delightful salmon tacos!

Notes

For an extra kick, try pairing these tacos with a cilantro jalapeño sauce, using sour cream instead of plain yogurt.
