- 12 medjool dates (pits removed)
- 1 green apple (diced)
- 1 tbsp pure maple syrup (avoid pancake syrup)
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 12 candied pecans (or roasted/raw pecans as alternatives)
- 1-2 tbsp almond butter (for drizzling)
Instructions
- Start by sautéing the diced green apples over medium/low heat with cinnamon and maple syrup. Let them simmer for 3-5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat and set aside.
- Next, prepare the dates by slicing the tops without cutting all the way through. Remove the pits and arrange them on a plate.
- Fill each date with 1 tbsp of sautéed apples, top with a candied pecan, drizzle with almond butter, and enjoy!
