Butterscotch Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¾ cup unsalted butter softened
  • ¾ cup light brown sugar packed
  • ¼ cup granulated white sugar
  • 2 egg yolks at room temperature
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ cup melted butterscotch chips
  • ½ cup butterscotch chips
  • ½ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • Flaky sea salt for optional sprinkling
  • Extra butterscotch and chocolate chips for optional sprinkling

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
  • In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated white sugar until light and fluffy using an electric mixer.
  • Add the egg yolks and vanilla extract, mixing until pale and fluffy.
