Introducing the super quick and easy pear tart that’s unbelievably delicious! It’s crispy and flaky on the outside but wonderfully soft and chewy inside.
Pear Tart
Ingredients
- 1 sheet of frozen puff pastry thawed
- 2-3 pears thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter melted
- 1/4 cup coconut sugar or regular/brown sugar
- 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp ground ginger
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg
- 1 tbsp turbinado sugar for coating before baking
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F.
- Score the puff pastry around the edges with a knife.
- In a bowl, mix melted butter, coconut sugar, and spices, then brush over the puff pastry.
- Arrange the thinly sliced pears on top.
- Brush more of the cinnamon sugar mixture over the pears and sprinkle with turbinado sugar.
- Bake for 18-22 minutes until golden brown.
- Let it cool slightly, then slice into it and indulge! Enjoy warm with a scoop of ice cream or Greek yogurt.
