Instead of the usual cheddar, we jazzed it up with smoked gouda and sharp white cheddar to perfectly complement the truffle oil.
Truffle Mac and Cheese

Ingredients
- 16 ounces of bowtie pasta or small pasta noodles
- 2 teaspoons of truffle oil
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 4 cloves of minced garlic
- 4 cups of chicken or vegetable broth
- ½ cup of heavy cream
- 1 cup of smoked gouda cheese
- 1 cup of sharp white cheddar cheese
- Optional: Italian flat-leaf parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
- In a 12×8 baking dish, combine the uncooked pasta, truffle oil, salt, pepper, garlic, and broth. Gently toss to combine, being careful not to break the pasta.
- Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 45-50 minutes or until the noodles are tender.
- Remove the foil, add the heavy cream, smoked gouda, and sharp white cheddar. Stir to melt the cheese and combine the ingredients.
- Garnish with Italian flat-leaf parsley and serve immediately.
