			- 2 salmon fillets (~6 oz each)
 - 2 tbsp olive oil
 - 1 tsp garlic powder
 - 1 tsp onion powder
 - 1 tsp paprika
 - 1 tsp dried oregano
 - 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper (or less, to taste)
 - Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
 - Juice of 1 lemon
 - Fresh parsley, finely chopped (for garnish)
 - Lemon wedges or slices, for serving

Instructions
- Heat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.
 - In a small bowl whisk together the olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, oregano, cayenne, salt and pepper until you have a loose paste.
 - Pat the salmon dry with paper towels and lay the fillets skin-side down on the prepared sheet.
 - Brush or rub the spice mixture all over the top and sides of each fillet, making sure the seasoning covers the surface evenly.
 - Drizzle the lemon juice over the seasoned fish for a bright, tangy finish.
 - Slide the pan into the oven and bake for 12–15 minutes, depending on thickness, until the flesh flakes easily with a fork.
 - Take the salmon out of the oven and let it rest 2–3 minutes so the juices redistribute.
 - Sprinkle with chopped parsley, serve with lemon slices, and enjoy.

Notes
Quick tip: If you want a slightly crisp top, pop the tray under the broiler for 30–60 seconds at the end — watch it closely so it doesn’t burn.
