Strawberry Matcha Overnight Oats

Ingredients
  

**Macerated Strawberries:**

  • 1 cup diced strawberries
  • 1/3 cup granulated white sugar

**Matcha Oats:**

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 1/3 cup milk of your choice use 1 1/4 cup for a thicker consistency
  • 2 teaspoons matcha powder
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla paste or vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup

**Other:**

  • Vanilla yogurt optional

Instructions
 

  • In a bowl, mix the diced strawberries with the white sugar. Let it sit for 30 minutes.
  • In another bowl, combine oats, milk, matcha, vanilla, and maple syrup. Mix well.
  • In jars, layer strawberries at the bottom, followed by vanilla yogurt (if using), and then the vanilla matcha oats on top.
  • Place in the fridge to soak overnight or for at least 3 to 4 hours if you’re in a hurry. Enjoy the next morning!

Notes

You can either layer everything and refrigerate or just refrigerate the oats layer and layer the next morning. Both ways work great!
