Starbucks Medicine Ball

Ingredients

  • 5 organic lemons (scrubbed and roughly chopped)
  • 1 3- inch piece of ginger (scrubbed and washed well)
  • 1/3 cup of raw honey (I prefer Nature Nate’s)
  • 1/2 cup of coconut water (Harmless Harvest is my go-to!)
  • Mint tea (I love Tazo and/or Peach tea)


Instructions

  1. Simply blend all the ingredients (except for the tea) until smooth, then pour the mixture into an ice cube tray and pop it in the freezer overnight.
  2. When you’re ready to make a medicine ball, steep a bag of mint tea in hot water, add 3 cubes from your batch, a bit more honey if you like it sweeter, and a slice of lemon. Give it a good stir and sip away!

Notes

Quick tip: These cubes pack a punch, so if you prefer, you can juice the lemons instead of blending them with the peel. But keeping the peel on adds extra goodness—think antioxidants, fiber, and vitamins!
