Snickers Stuffed-Dates
- Medjool dates
- Peanut butter
- Roasted peanuts (chopped)
- Chocolate (dark, milk, or semi-sweet)
**Equipment:**
- Toothpicks
- Piping bag or ziplock bag (optional)
- Begin by cutting each date open and removing the seed/pit. If you have pitted dates, you can skip this step.
- Transfer peanut butter to a piping bag or ziplock bag. Alternatively, use a spoon to fill each date with peanut butter and sprinkle chopped peanuts on top. Seal the dates shut by pressing at the top.
- Insert a toothpick into each date to make dipping easier. Alternatively, you can use a fork.
- If your dates are very soft, place them in the freezer for 15 to 20 minutes to help them hold their shape.
- Melt the chocolate of your choice in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between until fully melted.
- Dip each date in the melted chocolate, allowing any excess to drip off, and place them on a tray or plate lined with parchment paper. Sprinkle chopped peanuts on top for added crunch.
- Place the dates in the fridge or freezer for a few minutes until the chocolate is firm to the touch.
- Remove the toothpicks and enjoy your delicious Snickers-inspired treats!
