S’mores Chocolate Marshmallow Rice Krispies Treats

Enjoy these S’more Rice Krispie Treats made with Golden Grahams, Rice Krispies, marshmallows, butter, and Hershey’s Milk Chocolate Bars. You can whip up this delicious treat in less than 15 minutes!

I’m thrilled to share this Golden Graham Rice Krispie Treats recipe with you! It’s one of my favorite and easiest summer desserts, and I couldn’t wait to get it out to you all!

With Father’s Day tomorrow, I wanted to create an easy recipe that kids can make for their dads. There’s nothing cuter than kids cooking in the kitchen! I grew up baking a lot, so I love seeing other kids use their creativity to do the same!

S’mores Chocolate Marshmallow Rice Krispies Treats

Ingredients
  

  • – 1/2 cup salted butter
  • – 20 ounces marshmallows two 10-ounce bags, about 10 cups
  • – 4 cups Golden Grahams cereal
  • – 3 1/2 to 4 cups Rice Krispies cereal
  • – 6 ounces Hershey’s Milk Chocolate Bars
  • – Sea salt

Instructions
 

  • Heat a large pot over medium heat and melt the butter.
  • Set aside 2 cups of marshmallows. Add the rest of the marshmallows to the pot and stir until melted.
  • Remove the pot from heat. Add the Golden Grahams and Rice Krispies cereals, stirring until fully coated. Then, add the reserved 2 cups of marshmallows and stir until combined.
  • Line a 9 x 13-inch pan with parchment paper or foil and lightly spray with non-stick cooking spray. Pour the mixture into the pan and gently press it down. For thicker treats, press the mixture to the center using a spatula.
  • Lightly press half of the Hershey bars into the treats. The chocolate may start to melt, so save the other half for later after the bars have cooled. For a sweet and salty touch, sprinkle with a bit of sea salt.
  • Let the treats cool for 1 hour. Then, press the remaining half of the Hershey bars into the treats.
  • Cut into 16 or 24 squares. Store in a covered container or a sealed bag.
