Heat a large pot over medium heat and melt the butter.
Set aside 2 cups of marshmallows. Add the rest of the marshmallows to the pot and stir until melted.
Remove the pot from heat. Add the Golden Grahams and Rice Krispies cereals, stirring until fully coated. Then, add the reserved 2 cups of marshmallows and stir until combined.
Line a 9 x 13-inch pan with parchment paper or foil and lightly spray with non-stick cooking spray. Pour the mixture into the pan and gently press it down. For thicker treats, press the mixture to the center using a spatula.
Lightly press half of the Hershey bars into the treats. The chocolate may start to melt, so save the other half for later after the bars have cooled. For a sweet and salty touch, sprinkle with a bit of sea salt.
Let the treats cool for 1 hour. Then, press the remaining half of the Hershey bars into the treats.
Cut into 16 or 24 squares. Store in a covered container or a sealed bag.
